Herman Titov, CEO of RCC Boxing Promotions, believes Smith is a much stronger opponent than Bivol’s previous challenger, Michael Eifert, and expects the Briton to travel to Yekaterinburg to win. According to Titov, an agreement was reached with Smith’s team without the need for a purse bid. Will Smith overcome Bivol and become world champion, or will the Russian once again prove his class? Only the ring will provide the answer. The championship fight will feature the WBO, WBA and IBF titles, as well as The Ring belt. Should the bout go the full distance, the judges will determine the fate of four major belts. The reigning world champion will fight at home, with the crowd firmly behind him.
