Description
SKA Arena is a modern sports and concert complex in Saint Petersburg, home to the SKA hockey club. Opened in 2023, the arena has already established itself as one of the most technologically advanced and capacious sports venues in the world.
Construction of the complex began in 2020 on the site of the former "Petersburg" sports and concert complex. The old building was completely demolished, and the site was prepared for the construction of a new, significantly larger facility. Today, the arena's capacity reaches 22,000 spectators, exceeding that of many similar venues, including the Bell Center in Munich.
The building, comprising seven above-ground floors and an underground section, ranks among the largest and most technologically advanced arenas in the world. Modern engineering solutions and equipment were used during construction, ensuring a high level of comfort, safety, and convenience for spectators and event participants.
