A new challenge for Usyk: British talent will be his rival!
Oleksandr Usyk is getting ready for his next exciting fight, which is scheduled for August 12 in Wroclaw, Poland. As reported by Boxing Scene on Twitter, Usyk will compete against young British boxer Daniel Dubois, who is only 25 years old.
The World Boxing Association (WBA) obligated Usyk to fight Dubois, and after both sides failed to reach a contract by the deadline, the promotional bidding was won by the Ukrainian's team. As a result of this deal, Usyk will receive 75% of the prize money for this fight.
Usyk, who has 20 wins in 20 fights, holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts. His opponent, Daniel Dubois, has 19 wins and one loss to his credit. This fight promises to be a real performance that you should not miss!
