Alexander Usyk and Tyson Fury will fight on February 17, 2024

For a year now, boxing connoisseurs have been living in anticipation: whether or not there will be a fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion between Alexander Usik and Tyson Fury. Negotiations lasted for more than a year with varying success, dates were canceled and rescheduled. 

Finally, at the end of December it became known for sure – there will be a fight! 

Fury – one of the most successful heavyweights in recent boxing history. Fury entered professional boxing in 2008. The Gypsy Baron's career was going well, so already in 2009 he won the title of English champion according to the BBBofC. In 2011, after a fight with Dereck Chisora, he received the WBO international champion title, the EBU European champion title and received the vacant BBBofC British champion title.

After a two-year break, Fury resumed his career in 2018. His fight with Wilder was his first to end in a draw. In 2020, the boxer won the WBC heavyweight title.

Alexander Usik – winner of the 2011 World Championship, Olympic champion, absolute world champion in the first absolute weight. 

The athlete is recognized as the best boxer of the year by such authoritative publications as Sports Illustrated and The Ring, BoxingTalk and Yahoo Sports.

In 2021, Usik became the world champion in professional boxing according to WBA super, WBO, IBF, IBO.

There is no doubt that this meeting will become one of the most long-awaited and unpredictable.  A duel between two wrestlers, neither of whom knew defeat – This is a must see spectacle!
