Alexander Shlemenko will meet with Kuat Khamitov

Alexander Shlemenko is a legend of Russian martial arts. He fought dozens of times and when he was defeated three times in a row, many decided to write him off. But Alexander returned, and the end of 2023 became triumphant for him. Two victories - over Alex Oliveira and Alexander Ilic - again returned him to the ranks of the stars. While his main “thorn,” Magomed Ismailov, does not have time for a rematch with Alexander, he was offered another, no less interesting opponent.

Kuat Khamitov is a fighter with a controversial reputation. Fights with law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan, original remarks on various issues - all this happened in his career. But at the same time, he worked successfully in the octagon: last year he fought twice and won both times. The fight with Shlemenko could be Khamitov’s finest hour. He will not lose in any case, even if he loses, because Shlemenko will become the most famous opponent of his career. In case of defeat, Alexander may leave the ranks of top fighters. Now he is in 12th position among the strongest middleweights in Russia, and his place in the world ranking is 60th. His opponent won the MMA World Championship three times. He also performed in all leading organizations in both Russia and Asia at the professional level.
