But at the same time, he worked successfully in the octagon: last year he fought twice and won both times. The fight with Shlemenko could be Khamitov’s finest hour. He will not lose in any case, even if he loses, because Shlemenko will become the most famous opponent of his career. In case of defeat, Alexander may leave the ranks of top fighters. Now he is in 12th position among the strongest middleweights in Russia, and his place in the world ranking is 60th. His opponent won the MMA World Championship three times. He also performed in all leading organizations in both Russia and Asia at the professional level.
